Specify the maximum time, in minutes, a negative object should remain in the cache. A negative object is returned when an object is not found in a search result.
This policy determines how long that negative result should remain in the cache, regardless of the object type or object expiration time. By storing this negative result in the cache, Centrify DirectControl Agent does not need to connect to Active Directory to look for an object that was previously not found.
The default period of time for keeping negative results is 5 minutes. Setting the policy value to 0 keeps negative objects in the cache indefinitely.
This group policy modifies the adclient.cache.negative.lifetime setting in the Centrify DirectControl configuration file.
