Use version specific settings

Enable this group policy to use version specific settings.

You can then set policies based on the OS versions of your machines. For example, if you have only 10.5 machines, you can enable this policy then use "Mac OS X 10.5 settings". If you have 10.5, 10.6, 10.7, 10.8, 10.9, 10.10, 10.11 and 10.12 machines, or any two of these, enable this policy, then configure the version-specific policies as appropriate:

"Mac OS X 10.5 Settings"
"Mac OS X 10.6 Settings"
"Mac OS X 10.7 Settings"
"Mac OS X 10.8 Settings"
"Mac OS X 10.9 Settings"
"Mac OS X 10.10 Settings"
"Mac OS X 10.11 Settings"
"macOS 10.12 or above Settings"

If this policy is disabled or not configured, Legacy Settings will be used instead of version specific settings. Your old settings are in Legacy Settings and you can change any settings you wish. Note that the policies in Legacy Settings may not match exactly the settings for each OS version. Some settings may be missing while others may be redundant for a particular OS version.

Old Centrify Agent prior to version 4.4.2 will always use Legacy Settings and ignore this policy setting.

Once enabled, this group policy takes effect when users log out and back in.
