Map /home to /Users (Mac OS X)

Map user's home directory from /home to /Users on Mac OS X computers.

On Mac OS X 10.5, /home is an automount point, so if zone user's home directory is /home/username, then home directory cannot be created and user cannot log in.

To prevent this problem, zone user's home directory will be translated to /Users/username by default, unless this policy is disabled explicitly.

This group policy modifies the adclient.mac.map.home.to.users setting in the Centrify DirectControl configuration file.

Supported on:

Registry HiveHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Registry PathSoftware\Policies\Centrify\CentrifyDC\Settings\Adclient
