Beginning with Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows (IR3), it is possible to override the default discovery sequence for Directory Agent discovery in OpenSLP. This makes it possible, for example, to force DA discovery using DHCP over manually configured DA.
The value contains the sequence to be used for discovery of DAs, such as "DHCP,CONFIGURED,MULTICAST". The the DA discovery process will proceed in the order specified. If this property is not present, OpenSLP will be use the default DA discovery sequence of "CONFIGURED,DHCP,MULTICAST"
To disable any of the SLP discovery methods, simply remove them from the list of methods in the DA discovery sequence. See TID 7013008.
