When disabled, the "Don't Compress" and "Immediate Compress" attributes in the Novell Client displays of the file attributes cannot be changed. Normally the "Don't Compress" and "Immediate Compress" attribute checkboxes are available based on whether the current server is NetWare 4.0 or later. Setting the "Compression" DWORD value to 0 will override this and unconditionally gray out the "Don't Compress" and "Immediate Compress" attribute checkboxes 100% of the time.
