When disabled, changes in file or directory attributes will not be allowed in Novell Client displays of the file attributes. Although the current attribute checkboxes would be enabled or grayed out according to whether the current authenticated eDirectory user had the permissions necessary to change the attributes, setting this value to 0 will make the checkboxes grayed out 100% of the time regardless of the authenticated eDirectory user's permissions. Note this setting has no effect on Windows' own file property dialogs, which may also permit changing of some file or directory attributes. Only Novell Client-specific property pages are affected.
