If you enable this setting, a web page can prompt the user for access to the IE Tab API. The IE Tab API allows a web site to query version information about IE Tab and open specific web sites with IE Tab.
If you disable this setting, a web page can only use the IE Tab API if the page is included in the API whitelist.
By default web sites CAN prompt the user for API access.
