Desktop Notification Via Growl
This setting specifies settings for sending alert notifications to the Growl desktop client. You can send Growl notifications to the local machine or to a remote machine running Growl, including a Mac running Growl. If this policy is enabled, the Growl notifications are administrator defined and cannot be changed by the user. If this policy is disabled, Growl notifications are disabled and cannot be enabled or changed by the user. If this policy is not configured, users are free to configure the Growl settings.
If sending Growl alerts to a remote machine, you MUST paste the ENCRYPTED password value. The easiest way to set this up is to install WindowSMART on an administrator's PC, customize as desired and then export the Registry settings. You will need to copy the GrowlPassword registry value.
Supported on: At least Microsoft Windows XP Professional with SP2 or Windows Server 2003 family with SP1
