Debug Logging

These settings allow you to control whether or not users can create SmartInspect debug logs. If this policy is enabled, you can control whether logging is allowed, mandatory or forbidden, as well as the debug location. If this policy is disabled, logs are never generated. If this policy is not configured, the user has full control over the logging, including the log location.

Set the 'SmartInspect Debug Logging is' field to Allow for the user to decide whether to enable logging, Mandatory to always generate logs or Forbidden to never create logs.

The SmartInspect Debug Log Location field is always required, even if logging is forbidden. If unsure of a location, specify %DEFAULT% to let the operating system use its default location (i.e. C:\ProgramData), or specify a custom path.

Supported on: At least Microsoft Windows XP Professional with SP2 or Windows Server 2003 family with SP1
