Custom support message

Sets a custom support message for users. If your environment is configured such that end users can receive WindowSMART alerts, they may be frightened or unsure of what action to take. Here you can specify a custom support message with instructions on what they should so, such as, 'Please contact the Helpdesk at +1-999-555-1111, option 4 for further assistance.' There is a 256-character limit to the message.

If this policy is enabled, you must define the support message. If this policy is disabled, no custom support message is ever appended to alerts. If this policy is not configured, the support message can be configured through the use of the WindowSMART Enterprise Management command line tool.

Supported on: At least Microsoft Windows XP Professional with SP2 or Windows Server 2003 family with SP1
