If a user fails to meet password policy rules when changing their passwords via the logon server, Specops Password Client will use the domain controllers from the DNS cache to locate the domain controller that received the password change request. This will provide additional details from Specops Password Policy that will help users meet their assigned policy rules. This setting is enabled by default.
