By default, a selected tile on the Windows logon screen (Windows 8 and newer), is deselected after 30 seconds of user inactivity.
Activities such as keyboard/mouse use will restart the deselect timeout.
When a user clicks the "Reset Password..." link from the logon screen, the credential provider behind the Secured Browser window is unloaded after the configured time. If this setting is not configured, the credential provider changes the Windows logon default timeout to 900 seconds.
Changing the default value is not recommended.
