Allow the printing of background colors and images

This policy setting specifies whether you want Internet Explorer to print background colors and images when you print a Web page. Selecting this check box might slow down the speed at which your page is printed and the quality of the print, depending on the capabilities of your printer.

If you enable this policy setting, Internet Explorer prints background colors and images when you print a Web page. The user cannot change this policy setting.

If you disable this policy setting, Internet Explorer will not print background colors and images when you print a Web page. The user cannot change this policy setting.

If you do not configure this policy setting, a user can turn on or off printing background colors and images.
