Currently webcams can be redirected to VMware Agent side and be used as a virtual scanner for capturing images.
This policy setting prevents webcams from appearing in scanner selection menu of user interface.
If this policy setting is enabled, webcam hide mode for users will be assigned by this policy setting.
If this policy setting is disabled or not configured, webcam hide mode will be disabled.
The user has the possibility to change the webcam hide mode at any time via the settings interface, even if the policy setting is enabled.
If this policy setting is used for the computer, it overrides the policy setting for all users of this computer. In this case the user won't have the possibility to change the webcam hide mode via the settings interface.
