Disable VBA for Office applications

This policy setting allows you to prevent Excel 2013, SharePoint Designer 2013, Outlook 2013, PowerPoint 2013, Publisher 2013, and Word 2013 from using Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), whether or not the VBA feature is installed on user computers. Changing this policy setting will not install or remove the VBA files from the user computers. For more information about configuring security settings, see the 2013 Office Resource Kit.

If you enable this policy setting, VBA is disabled on 2013 Office applications on user computers.

If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, VBA is enabled for 2013 Office applications on user computers.
