Disable VBA for Office applications

This policy setting controls whether 2007 Office applications can use Microsoft Visual Basic® for Applications (VBA). Important -- This policy setting does not affect Microsoft Office Access™ 2007.

If you enable this policy setting, 2007 Office applications (except for Access) cannot execute any VBA code. Enabling this policy setting does not install or remove any VBA--related code or files from users' computers.

If you disable or do not configure this policy setting, 2007 Office applications (except for Access) can execute Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) code that customizes and automates application operation.
