Note: Starting with MailStore Server 13, the communication between the MailStore Outlook Add-in and the MailStore Server is always TLS/SSL encrypted and this policy setting has no effect.
This policy setting determines whether the communication between the MailStore Outlook Add-in and the MailStore Server will be TLS/SSL encrypted.
If you enable this policy setting, the communication between the MailStore Outlook Add-in and the MailStore Server will be sent TLS/SSL encrypted over HTTPS.
If you disable this policy setting, the communication between the MailStore Outlook Add-in and the MailStore Server will be sent unencrypted over HTTP.
If you do not configure this policy setting, users can choose in the configuration dialog of the MailStore Outlook Add-in whether the communication should be encrypted or not.
Important: If the communication between the MailStore Outlook Add-in and the MailStore Server is encrypted, the server certificate of the MailStore Server has to be trustworthy to avoid certificate warnings being shown.
