If this setting is ON, hyperlinks created by using Insert As, Link and Insert Attachment as Link will be a link to the DocId Redirection Page (DocIdRedir.aspx) with the unique Document ID as a parameter. These links will still work even after the document has been moved from where it was ooriginally saved.
