App-V Client Cache File Location

Defines the location of the cache file.
Default location
WinXP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\SoftGrid Client\sftfs.fsd
WinVista & Win7:
C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Application Virtualization Client\SoftGrid Client\sftfs.fsd

When using a VDI scenario it is possible to configure the client to use disk space efficiently by using shared read-only cache.
When using this option it is important to put the FSD file in a location that had the responsiveness and reliability equivalent to locally attached storage performance, for example, a SAN.
Ex: \\AppV-Server\app-v\sftfs.fsd

Read Only FSD:
This ensures that the client will not attempt to stream updates to the package cache.

Error Log Location:
Entry used to specify the path to the error log (Use a local path such as C:\Logs\Sftfs.etl).

NOTE:
If the App-V Client Cache File is put on a central location in Read-Only Mode, the Path to the Error Log has to be set to a local (or per-device) location (mandatory). If not, ReadOnlyFSD will fail.

Supported on: At least Windows XP Professional with SP2
