Database Configuration and Features
Database Type: This policy defines the database type to use. The default is SQLITE (file-based).
Database Name: Defines the name of the database that will be used for SureDATA. The default name is GoverlanV8_DB
Database Server: Defines the database server to connect to and the instance. You can leave this field blank if you have configured a file-based database like SQLITE. Example: SERVERNAME\sqlexpress
Database Path: Defines the directory used by Goverlan to store the database if this one is a file-based format. You can leave this field blank if the database is not file-based, or if you want to use the configured Goverlan Application Data Directory to store the database.
Database UserID: Defines the database user ID to connect to the database server. You can leave this field blank if you want to use Windows Authentication or if you have configured a file-based database like SQLITE.
Database Password: Defines the database user password to connect to the database server. You can leave this field blank if you want to use Windows Authentication or if you have configured a file-based database like SQLITE.
Database Inventory: Enable this option if you do not want Goverlan to register inventory information into the database. Default value is On.
