DirectFlex – advanced settings

By default, DirectFlex exports profile information when an application is closed. Enabling 'Only export at logoff' postpones the export action to the user's logoff.
NOTE: This setting can be overridden in Flex config files.

To display a message in the notification area when DirectFlex is performing an import or export, enable the 'Show DirectFlex notifications' setting.

If the import or export takes less time than the configured notification delay, no message is shown. This can be used to only display messages when access to the profile archive path is slow (i.e. when imports and exports take longer).
If the notification delay is set to 0, messages are shown immediately.

To only show a message in the notification area when DirectFlex is performing an import, enable the 'Hide DirectFlex exit notification' setting.

Supported on: At least Microsoft Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2
