Manual Connection 1

Configure this setting to create a manual connection profile for DBM Tools.
This is useful if you are connecting to a database with a driver other than MSSQL or ODBC, or if you need to do something really insecure like store the database password in the connection string.

.NET Driver: This will be the name of the .net driver used for the connection
It can be any valid .net framework driver, usually one of these
System.Data.Odbc
System.Data.OleDb
System.Data.ProviderBase
System.Data.SQLite
System.Data.SqlClient

Connection String: Valid connection string for the driver type.
If you're not sure what the connection string should be, you probably shouldn't be using this.

Type: This should be the type of database, meaning software platform.
Choose from the list of supported software.
If your software is not listed here but is supported, you may be using an outdated version of the GP template; update your template by running the GP template install script again, which can be downloaded from DBMTools.com
