If this setting is enabled then sub containers of the specified default root search location will also be searched by default. This setting only controls the default - the user can still choose to include/exclude sub containers when they actually run a query.
If this setting is disabled then sub containers will not be searched by default.
If this setting is not configured then the settings that the user has configured in the Options window will take effect.
